TIFF has a close collaboration with the film community in North West Russia, and had a key role in the cultural collaboration between Norway and Russia through the last ten years. During the recent years the festival has built up a wide network of Russian partners, and is an important force in promoting film culture across the boarders.
Films and film concerts
Through these projects TIFF distributes film cultural experieces for aproximately 10.000 people in Norway and Russia annually. The recent years around 60 shows have been put on each year, varying from screening of short film programs from TIFF's Films from the North program and singular screenings of Norwegian films to film concerts with live music from Norwegian and Russian musicians.
