Students at TIFF

Tromsø International Film Festival screens challenging quality films for a local, national and international audience.

For students there are different special offers and ways to take part in the festival.

Ticket card Youth25/student

If you're planning to catch multiple films at TIFF, consider investing in our Youth/Student Ticket Card. This card includes 3 tickets at a discounted rate. These cards are not personalized, so feel free to share the clips with your fellow students or anyone you know who is under 25.

Free student screening

TIFF offers a free film screening for students every year in collaboration with Samskipnaden and UiT.

This year's free student screening features BABYGIRL by Halina Reijn and will take place at DRIV on Tuesday, the 14th, at 19:15.

Free tickets will be released on Monday, January 6th, at 08:00.

TIFF UNG

Welcome to TIFF UNG, a dedicated film program for youth aged 15-19!

Three films for youth, selected by youth. The TIFF UNG films have special screenings exclusively for those aged 15-19, with extra affordable tickets: A single ticket costs 50 NOK, or watch all three films in the program for 100 NOK with a TIFF UNG festival pass.
