Six months before the Norwegian parliamentary election in 2021, social scientist Ottar Brox wrote a manifesto in his column in the newspaper Klassekampen. It was a call to arms for the center-left, aiming to enable Northern Norwegian coastal communities to regain control of their basic resource: the ocean commons. Ottar Brox has stood on the barricades and fought for the coast his whole life.

Join us for an extraordinary experience when we show films on board the cutter Hermes II. The spectacular northern Norwegian coastal scenery out on the deck is accompanied by an intimate film screening downstairs in the lounge.

Johan's mother Inga Britt falls ill with Alzheimer's disease at the same time as he himself becomes a parent. These crucial life events force them to deal with their complicated relationship, which essentially has lasted a lifetime. In this personal documentary, Johan decides to unravel and deepen his relations with his mother, before it is too late.

On January 25th, 1995, a group of Norwegian and American scientists launch a rocket from arctic Norway to study the northern lights. The rocket triggers a false alert in Russia of an incoming nuclear attack. Russian President Boris Yeltsin and the Russian military have just a few minutes to respond.
