1. Catch up on the program presentation

If you want an introduction to the program, you can watch the video from the live-stream of the program presentation with Festival Director Lisa Hoen! Please note that the presentation is in Norwegian since it is in collaboration with the Norwegian newspaper iTromsø! You can find the video here.

2. Find films in the program

At tiff.no you can explore this year's festival program! Look for films in our program sections, for example Overdrive or Horizons, or sort films from A-Å based on titles.

Do you prefer to read about the films on paper? You can get our festival catalogue at Aurora Kino Fokus and at our online store. The festival catalogue is also available digitally in our digital catalogue archive.

3. Get an overview of the film screenings in the calendar

The TIFF-calendar gives you an overview over which films will be screened where, at the various screening venues. We recommend you get to know our films, our Off-screen program and the various screening venues.

If you would like a physical copy of the calendar you can find our pocket program. This is easy to carry with you as you go from screening to screening, and it is small enough to carry in your pocket. The pocket program will be available at Aurora Fokus Kino from Friday, January 3rd.

4. Buy a ticket card - for those who are planning on watching a lot of films

If you are planning on watching many films, it could be worth it to buy a ticket card! The ticket cards holds 12 or 22 tickets which you can use yourself, or split with any other you want to. For students there is a separate offer for ticket cards with 3 tickets.

5. Buy tickets online

All tickets can be bought online through our website where you can find a link to the tickets at the individual film pages, through the calendar. You can also buy tickets through ticketco.no.

When you have found the screening you wish to attend, you click your way through to buy the ticket, choose the number of tickets you want, and then you will get a question on wether you have a verdikupong (ticket card/gift card) or if you wish to pay by card. Remember to get your tickets in advance to secure a seat at the screenings you wish to attend!
