Earlier this fall, we released the news that Ethan Coen will visit the 2024 festival together with his wife and film editor Tricia Cooke. Now, we are ready with the sidebar COEN-BROTHERS: CRIME AND HUMAN COMEDY!
The Coen brothers represent some of the finest aspects of American film culture. Known for helming great achievements from all the different apartments of cinema, the amalgam is masterful storytelling and iconic films that stand tall in the history of cinema.
The retrospective presents a cross-section of their works, and includes highlights such as THE BIG LEBOWSKI, BARTON FINK, and O BROTHER, WHERE ART THOU?
Meet Ethan Coen and Tricia Cooke at TIFF 2024
Director Ethan Coen and film editor Tricia Cooke, who has worked on several films in the program, are honored guests at the festival. The audeince can meet them during Q&A sessions at some of their screenings. The screening schedule will be released on Wednesday, December 20th.
Additionally, both audience and film industry delegates will have the opportunity to aquire tickets for an exclusive Master Class on Friday January 19. Tickets will be available prior to the regular ticket sales, so stay tuned for updates if interested!
