TIFF is lucky enough to have a great group of volunteers who participate in making a fantastic and eventful festival. As a volunteer you represent us to the audience, and you and your efforts are central to a smoothly run festival. Wether you're checking tickets, helping the audience with festival information, working in the theaters or at a party, driving a car or taking care of our guests, the role you play is important to us.
In return for your help we can offer an exciting week, new challenges, new acquaintances and exclusive events for volunteers. Not to forget: great film experiences! Sound like fun?
As a TIFF volunteer you receive
- A TIFF bag
- A crew shirt
- A festival accreditation that gives you access to free tickets to the ordinary festival screenings.
- The pocket calendar
- Food and drink while you work
- Volunteer kick-off with film screening in December.
- Exclusive volunteer-screenings prior the festival
- Volunteer party the last day of the festival.
- To be a volunteer at TIFF you must be 18 years old or older. (groups under 18 may contact the volunteer coordinator).
The volunteer registration opens in October.
