Hermes is a modern, northern Norwegian fishing boat company with a history dating back to 1952. We think ahead and use new technology in both our fishing activities and our communications. Production of film and direct transmissions of audio and video from our activities on the fishing grounds are two of the key initiatives that we have adopted in order to live up to our philosophy of being a visible and transparent shipping company.
‘Hermes II’, the boat that the shipping company started with in 1952, played the role of ‘Bratholm I’ in the film The 12th Man. We were also a partner in this production. Fortunately, the film adventure did not stop there, and we are delighted that we have now also entered into a partnership in the TIFF universe.
With our roots firmly planted in Finnmark and Tromsø, we cheer on everyone who contributes to make good things happen along the coast. And now we also cheer on TIFF!
