Arctic Discovery is a project market, bringing together top producers and directors from Nordic and Arctic regions, together with international acquisition, finance, distribution, and development executives.
Arctic Discovery evolves from Fiction Norway, first launched in 2020. The market takes place during the framework of Tromsø International Film Festival, January 17-18 2027, and offers a unique opportunity for filmmakers to meet high level international financiers.
CALL FOR PROJECTS
Producers from the Nordic countries and other Arctic/sub-arctic regions (Canada, Alaska, Greenland) can now submit their fiction feature film projects in development.

Previous participants have included executives from Netflix, Searchlight Pictures, Plan B Entertainment, CAA Media Finance, NEON, FilmNation, Protagonist Pictures, Charades, XYZ Films, and other leading international companies.
Arctic Discovery is organized by Tromsø International Film Festival in collaboration with partners Arktisk Film Norge, International Sámi Film Institute, The Finnish Film Foundation, VIRKE Produsentforeningen and Indigenous Screen Office.
