Four people experience freedom and independence, born through water. Each has some disability or illness. In the water, they experience their body differently. Most importantly, something in the water allows them to test their limits and express themselves outside of it.
Anna Kekkonen is a Finnish filmmaker who has Inger Finnish roots. She studied Audiovisual Media Culture at the University of Lapland. She is an underwater cinematographer and director. She directed the student film Underwater Momentum in 2019, the short documentary film Surface, and the dance film Noora in 2023.
