It’s a warm, bright summer day, and Sarah and her boyfriend are busy preparing to host a summer party. But within just one day, her entire sense of reality is turned upside down. An immensely beautiful and tender short where story, acting, cinematography and score together create a unique atmosphere.
Aasne Vaa Greibrokk (b. 1982) is a director and screenwriter from Bodø, Norway. A graduate of the Norwegian Film School, her acclaimed shorts include Guardrail, Remember Me Tomorrow, and To Whom It May Concern. In 2019, her short Beast was nominated for an Amanda, and won the prize for best short in Les Arcs, cementing her as a bold voice in Norwegian cinema.
