Humanist Vampire Seeking Consenting Suicidal Person

Watch trailer

A refreshing take on the vampire genre, skillfully blending dark comedy, coming-of-age, and mumblecore. The film revolves around Sasha, a teenage vampire struggling with an unusual predicament – she's too sensitive to kill.

Sasha's dilemma intensifies when her exasperated parents cut off her blood supply, putting her life in jeopardy. Salvation comes in the form of Paul, a lonely teenager with suicidal tendencies who willingly offers his life to save hers. What begins as a friendly agreement evolves into a nocturnal quest to fulfill Paul's last wishes before the break of day.

Humanist Vampire Seeking Consenting Suicidal Person is a savage parody of teen romance within the vampire mythos. Sasha's late-blooming vampiric nature sets the tone, juxtaposing horror, comedy, and drama. The film creatively uses vampire lore to express the universal struggles of adolescence and creates a ghoulish yet oddly familiar family dynamic. It is a lighthearted crowd-pleaser and seamlessly blends humor and heartwarming moments.
