30min programme of short documentary films produced within Tromsø’s diverse immigrant communities. In the films, people speak about how to cope with loneliness, home schooling, and unemployment during the Covid-19 pandemic in their new home town. The screening will be followed by a 90-minute roundtable discussion with filmmakers from iRåd, a new collaboration between three Tromsø immigrants’ associations. The discussion will include some of the filmmakers, film participants, and organizers and will happen around the Talkaoke table from Ice-9.

Talkaoke is a pop-up talk show in a democratic format which offers a friendly and relaxed space to chat.

No stage. No pretense. Lots of laughter and spontaneous exchange of ideas.
