Thea is stuck. She has moved cities to start over but is unable to let go of the past. When her ex-boyfriend suddenly visits the area, the opportunity to revive the past arrives with him. Distance is an intimate relational drama about letting go, played out in North-Norwegian scenery.
Iver Innset has worked professionally as an actor in film, television, and theatre since 2012. In 2018 he completed his Bachelor degree in acting at the National Academy of the Arts. Since 2021 he has been part of the ensemble of Hålogaland Theatre in Tromsø. Distance is his debut as a director and screenwriter.
