No One Owns You

On a summer day at her family's cottage in the Ostrobothnian archipelago, 18-year-old competitive swimmer Alicia meets Mira by chance. Mira embody a boundless freedom unburdened by expectations, instantly intoxicating Alicia. When she returns home, nothing feels the same. Driven by an unexplained longing, Alicia swims back across the bay in the middle of the night. As the night fades, she has to determine where she is heading in life.

Director

Agnes Koskinen (b. 2000) is a Finnish director, screenwriter, and actress. She holds a bachelor's degree in film from Arcada. In her work, Koskinen likes to explore themes related to youth, growing up, and liminal spaces.
