Our Ties

In this film, we meet Moussa, a gentle and selfless man, who is in the midst of a divorce. His wife has left him and wants to break all ties. We meet his extended family, including his brother Ryad, who appears to be Moussa's exact opposite: a real macho type who says what he means and gets things his way. After a long day at work, Moussa is asked to go out to a nightclub, and he accepts. But instead of a new life as a dance fiend, he falls and gets a head injury that him into a rude and insufferable brute. How will his family deal with his new personality?

This is a classic french drama where conflicts always loom and where fights are always lurking. Moussa's change creates ripple effects throughout the family, and the only one who seems to like the new version of him is, of course, Ryad. With several humorous scenes, Our Ties shows different male roles and how the dynamics of an entire family can change.
