Vera, 13, engages in self-harm and ends up in the emergency room. The news of a six-month wait for specialist help upsets her mother. Dealing with this crisis very differently, there seems to be a surmountable distance between mother and daughter. Is it possible for them to re-connect?
Polina Blag is an advocate for children and the situation of youths in modern society and wants to reflect on their reality in film. Originally from Baikonur in Kazakhstan and studied journalism in Moscow before moving to Sweden ten years ago. In Sweden, she studied visual arts and photography before becoming a film director and writer.
