It’s not easy being a thirteen-year-old girl. Today's social climate of being constantly online can make you feel seen and invisible at the same time. Trying to be cool and tough is hard and it’s often impossible to live up to your own high standards.
Polly Blag is a director, screenwriter, and school teacher. She is an advocate for children and the situation of youths in school and wants to reflect on their reality in film. She is originally from Baikonur in Kazakhstan and studied journalism in Moscow before moving to Sweden ten years ago.
