Bookswapping (Late Summer in Reykjavík)

A despondent writer stumbles upon a mysterious note in a book that she finds in her neighborhood park. While struggling to bring life to her own characters she starts writing messages back. Slowly, an unusual rapport with the unknown note-writer evolves.

Director

Bergur Árnason studied at the Icelandic Film School from 2017-2019, where he made his first two short films: Gulrætur and Mánudagur. Since graduating he has worked at The Icelandic National Television Broadcasting Service (RÚV) producing TV programmes for children and working as producer and director on various independent film projects.
