Bertrand, who struggles with substance abuse, gets a job on the farm where 12-year-old Pierre lives. Pierre, who deals with bullying and missing his mother, looks up to the "scary" and cool Bertrand and asks him to teach him how to skate. Despite his father's opposition (who dismisses skating as nonsense), Bertrand teaches the boy on a secret ramp from his own past.

The TIFF UNG screenings are organized in collaboration with Tvibit and "Ung kulturrabatt" (Youth Culture Discount) and are exclusively for those between the ages of 15 and 19. Antoine Besse is a French filmmaker known for his focus on stories about youth, skateboarding, and individuals often overlooked in rural settings. Ollie is his debut feature film.
