No Country for Old Men

Watch trailer

Embark on a gripping journey through a sun-soaked and treacherous landscape. The Coen Brothers' Oscar-winning film is filled with tense excitement, violence, and unexpected humor.

In the Coen Brothers' merciless neo-western, we meet Llewelyn Moss (Josh Brolin) on a hunting trip in the sun-drenched terrain between Texas and Mexico. The journey takes an unexpected turn when he stumbles upon the aftermath of a drug deal that ended in a massacre. He returns home with a suitcase containing 2 million dollars, setting off a gritty manhunt where three destinies converge: Llewelyn with the stolen money, the cold-blooded and psychopathic hitman Anton Chigurh (Javier Bardem in an unforgettable role!), and Sheriff Ed Tom Bell (Tommy Lee Jones) who is trying to find reason in a world marked by incomprehensible acts of violence.

The film is based on Cormac McCarthy's acclaimed novel, masterfully staged with colorful and surprisingly humorous characters alongside cold and precise bloodshed. The movie won Oscars for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Supporting Actor (Bardem), and Best Adapted Screenplay.
