Fariba Haidari was born in Afghanistan and moved to Iran as a child. She is a nurse and a filmmaker. She made films in Afghanistan, and got threats from an extremist group because of a fiction film that she made which was about remarkable women in Afghanistan’s history. She moved to Sweden in 2012 and has made two documentaries and one fiction film.
