The Search for Resonance // Per Martinsen

During TIFF, the Helvetestveitasenteret presents the exhibition "The Search for Resonance", which is the electronic artist Per Martinsen's retrospective summary of the last three decades.

The exhibition is based on the story "Pyramids on the Moon" - a "multi-dimensional autobiography". Here, a life in music is described in three alternative time- lines, where the three characters in the story publish music under different names parallel to their stories unfolding on the project's website (www.pyramidsonthemoon.com). The project is part of Martinsen's artistic end product as a research fellow in artistic development work at the Conservatory of Music, UiT - Norwegian Arctic University, and the exhibition shows installations from the universe of the story as well as documentation from the work.

Location: HELVETESVEITASENTERET, Grønnegata 114, Tromsø.
Dates: Open 19th-22nd January, from 12h00 – 19h00
