It’s wintertime in Valdiva, Chile, and three men have their lives entwined as they had never imagined. Juan is a blind man who gets his sight back, but finds that the world does not look like he expected. Guajardo gets a new job as a mall cop, but falls in love with a beautiful shoplifter. And David falls victim to the credit crunch and is transferred from his work for an unknown period of time. The one thing that connects them is Manuela, a secretary with self-esteem issues. While the winter gets colder, everything starts to feel like an optical illusion.
OPTICAL ILLUSION is an off-beat drama comedy with an abundance of black humour, irony and clever lines.
